Reds Landing Keys Available at City Hall
4/8/2026
Berryville City Council has entered into an agreement with the Upper Neches River Water Authority for managing Reds Landing. Reds Landing had previously been managed by a private community park association and they declined to continue. The Berryville City Council voted to make a one-year agreement with UNRWA to manage the park and determine the feasibility of continued support of the park facilities. This is all a result of requests from the community to step in and take some action.
The council authorized a minimal budget to pay for the lease from UNRWA and the insurance policy they require the city to maintain. The council also authorized the purchase of new keys and lock, new signage, and materials to repair the dock. This was not part of the operating budget for this year. The money for supporting Reds Landing will be through the sale of keyholder access.
The keys will be available for both city residents and non-residents.
The fee for City Residents is $75.00 Non-residents are $100.00 CASH OR CHECK ONLY!
Keys can be issued on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10AM to 11:30AM 1PM - 4PM See Shanna at City Hall
You can access the Application and the Agreement for use here.

All applicants must fill out both forms before being issued a key.
These proceeds will be used to offset the cost of keeping the park available.
The past several years has shown the deterioration of park facilities due to lack of maintenance and vandalization. The bathrooms are unusable and have been vandalized many times over the years. It is not worth the effort or cost to try and renovate them. The current bathrooms will be closed permanently.
We are looking at further improvements to the dock, pavilions, and electricity, including lighting. These efforts will be supported by the sale of the key access.
We also need the support of the community to assist in maintaining the facility so that it can benefit all the users.
