The Frankston Independent School District, under the leadership of Superintendent John Allen, offers both standard and handicap school bus access to all Berryville students attending the elementary, middle or high school.

A Message From the Superintendent

Welcome to Frankston ISD, one of the best kept secrets in East Texas.

At Frankston we have a wide variety of offerings to make the educational experience of our students second to none. Some of the great things our students are involved in are University Interscholastic League (UIL) academics, athletics, band, theater, art, agriculture, chess, and robotics. Our students are also becoming college or career ready by taking dual credit courses for college credit and becoming certified in areas such as pharmacy technician and nursing assistant.

Our district encompasses a large geographic area just south of Tyler including the counties of Anderson and Henderson and the cities of Berryville and Frankston.  We are situated on the southern shores of beautiful Lake Palestine which offers great fishing and recreation.

Our close-knit community has high expectations for our school district; therefore, we have the best teachers and students in the state of Texas.  We are always looking for great students to add to the Frankston family and accept out of district transfers at no cost.  We are a public school with a private school feel.

Please visit the rest of our website or come by and visit us in person and see why we are no longer a secret.

John Allen, Superintendent
